The movie Mean Girls came out in 2004 and quickly became a huge pop culture success. Comedian Tina Fey wrote the story after reading a book called Queen Bees and Wannabes. The plot follows Cady Heron, a teenage girl who moves from Africa to an American high school. There, she meets a group of popular girls called , led by Regina George.
