Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell was born in Los Angeles, California, in December 2001. She grew up in a creative family and was educated at home with her brother, Finneas O’Connell. As a child, Billie enjoyed dancing, singing, and writing songs. She joined a children’s choir when she was young, which helped her learn how to control her voice.

Her career began in an unexpected way.
